The Ecosistemas Emprendedores de Main Street America project seeks to support Main Street communities in the southern region by empowering local businesses to scale, expand, and grow confidently. While a comprehensive report on the needs of these communities has been produced, its results validated anticipated next steps rather than uncovering groundbreaking insights. The challenge now lies in translating these findings into actionable, transformative strategies to drive economic development and entrepreneurial growth.
The businesses involved must adopt a mindset shift: understanding that the strategies that brought them to this point will not take them to the next level. They need to develop bold aspirations, see their roles beyond the scope of their individual businesses, and envision themselves as critical agents of change within their ecosystems. This requires fostering a growth mindset, instilling a sense of purpose and collaboration, and empowering them with the tools and frameworks to think bigger, better, and bolder.
SeriouslyCreative proposes a two-day immersive program designed to inspire, equip, and empower Main Street businesses to embrace bold growth aspirations and redefine their roles in the broader economic ecosystem. Building on the proven impact of our Disruptive Leaders Camp (DLC) and integrating methodologies from design thinking and Startup Weekend, this approach emphasizes practical learning, collaboration, and actionable outcomes.
Day 1 Discovery & Vision: Participants will explore their challenges to growth, mapping their ecosystems and assets to understand the bigger picture of their businesses. They will identify opportunities, define bold aspirations, and uncover the key levers for achieving exponential growth.
Day 2 Planning for Impact: The focus will shift to action, with participants crafting detailed plans or blueprints to realize their aspirations. They will receive peer consulting and mentoring throughout the day, culminating in the presentation of capstone projects that outline their vision and steps for growth.
